The asset allocation of high-asset clients with over NT$100 million in assets has shifted, with the deposit share falling to 39.3%, dropping below 40%; funds accounted for 17.6%, bonds 14.8%, insurance 13.6%, and offshore structured products 8%. 26 Banks Approved, Securities Sub-Brokerage Surges

Facing huge wealth management business opportunities, banks are accelerating service capacity expansion. Currently 26 banks have been approved to conduct Wealth Management 2.0 business, of which 25 have officially launched. The FSC noted that banks have gradually matured in talent training, product design, system construction and internal management systems, helping to expand the client base and business scale. Looking at the overall financial industry, assets under management at the end of September were about NT$48.38 trillion, growing by NT$10.12 trillion from January to September, of which investment trust and consulting enterprises contributed NT$8.18 trillion. The FSC analyzed that rising capital markets and diversified ETF products boosted the scale, but the increase includes capital gains from fund NAV appreciation and cannot all be regarded as new capital inflows.
