Heavy Intraday Selling Pressure on the Market
Taiwan stocks saw clear selling pressure in the intraday session on the 29th, with the TAIEX falling as much as 765.80 points, or 1.63%, to 46269.78 points. As of 9:55, the decline narrowed slightly, with the TAIEX down 651.39 points, or 1.38%, at 46384.19 points. Market funds turned cautious, electronics stocks were generally under pressure, and PCB concept stocks were particularly weak, with almost all declining.
Losses Widen for PCB Concept Stocks
Among PCB concept stocks, many fell by more than 3%. 華通 fell 8.5 yuan, or 3.79%, to 215.5 yuan; 台郡 fell 4.2 yuan, or 5.11%, to 78 yuan; 同欣電 fell 11.5 yuan, or 5.36%, to 203 yuan; 敬鵬 fell 1.9 yuan, or 3.49%, to 52.6 yuan. 燿華 fell 1.6 yuan, or 3.53%, to 43.75 yuan; 金像電 fell 45 yuan, or 3.8%, to 1140 yuan; 銘旺科 fell 1.15 yuan, or 3.33%, to 33.4 yuan; 高技 fell 8.5 yuan, or 3.85%, to 212 yuan.
Substrate Trio Weaken Together
In the substrate group, 欣興 fell 35 yuan, or 3.18%, to 1065 yuan; 景碩 fell 66 yuan, or 6.38%, to 969 yuan; 南電 fell 30 yuan, or 2.31%, to 1270 yuan. In addition, 嘉聯益 fell 0.65 yuan, or 3.63%, to 17.25 yuan; 精成科 fell 5.6 yuan, or 6.17%, to 85.1 yuan, a relatively large decline, showing that both high-priced and small-to-mid-cap PCB stocks faced selling pressure.
健鼎 Rises Against Trend as Bright Spot
While the group generally declined, 健鼎 rose against the trend, up 3 yuan, or 0.55%, to 547 yuan, becoming one of the few bright spots. Other stocks with declines of less than 3% included: 志超 down 1.25 yuan, or 2.92%, to 41.5 yuan; 楠梓電 down 2.5 yuan, or 1.65%, to 149 yuan; 泰詠 down 0.2 yuan, or 0.81%, to 24.5 yuan; 台表科 down 6 yuan, or 2.1%, to 279.5 yuan; 鉅橡 down 1.6 yuan, or 2.91%, to 53.4 yuan; 柏承 down 1.1 yuan, or 2.08%, to 51.8 yuan.
