陳立白 Sees DRAM Shortage Worsening in 2027
Chairman 陳立白 said global AI infrastructure continues to expand, with memory demand extending from cloud data centers to physical AI applications such as robotics, autonomous driving, and low-orbit satellites. Upstream suppliers' capacity remains focused on high-end products and server demand, with supply growth failing to keep pace with demand. He expects the supply-demand imbalance to become more pronounced in 2027, with the DRAM shortage more severe than in 2026. Currently, memory supply fulfillment for large cloud service providers is about 70%, while for PC and mobile phone brands it is about 50%, making securing DRAM supply an important competitive factor for brand vendors.
Focus on Supply Sources and High-End Storage Layout
Facing tight supply and demand, ADATA will deepen cooperation with upstream suppliers to secure key supply sources, while increasing SSD and enterprise SSD market share, and focusing on strategic customers to support DRAM and NAND Flash resource needs. On the product side, it will raise the share of TRUSTA enterprise storage and AI application products, expand high-end storage and emerging market opportunities, and through adjustments in supply sources, customer layout, and product mix, increase the share of AI-related products and gross margin, to meet fourth-quarter and 2027 demand with momentum strong from the start to the end of the year.
