Showcasing Partnership Results at Smart City Expo
Creative5Creative5 Satellite partnered with Sateliot to showcase their satellite IoT partnership achievements at the 2026 Smart City Expo World Congress. The collaboration combines Creative5's HESTIA Plus devices and system integration capabilities with Sateliot's 3GPP-compliant NB-IoT non-terrestrial network connectivity services, helping enterprises evaluate connected applications beyond reliable terrestrial network coverage as an extension of conventional cellular IoT.
Targeting Four Types of Field Validations
Initial applications cover smart agriculture, environmental monitoring, water resources and utility assets, and remote-area infrastructure. The two parties will work with solution providers and enterprise customers to jointly define application requirements, review device and network integration conditions, and plan field validations based on measurable performance indicators. HESTIA Plus supports terrestrial and satellite IoT connectivity, enabling evaluation of continued connectivity for assets beyond conventional network coverage.
Clear Division of Roles Lowers Adoption Barriers
In terms of roles, Creative5 provides device hardware, integration support, and application onboarding services, while Sateliot provides satellite connectivity and service activation in supported markets. This division allows customers to move from use-case definition and technical review to field testing with a defined schedule, with data transmission processes, success metrics, and deployment conditions agreed in advance, to pragmatically assess how HESTIA Plus connects remote assets.
Follow-on Deployment Still Subject to Validation
The two parties stressed that subsequent commercial deployment remains subject to network and service availability, local regulations, technical validation results, and individual project terms. The collaboration aims to help customers make evidence-based deployment decisions and does not imply global coverage or completed product certification. Yin-Yi Chang, CMO of Creative5 Satellite and GM of the SATCOM Business Unit, said the true value of satellite IoT lies in whether it can address real application needs and be validated through defined data transmission processes and measurable field performance. Gianluca Redolfi, CCO of Sateliot, said the partnership enables customers to evaluate connectivity options pragmatically and plan scaled deployment for suitable applications.
