Taishin Securities joined hands with the Taipei Exchange (TPEx) to hold the "TPEx & Taishin Taiwan Corporate Day" in Singapore on October 29, leading 7 quality OTC companies to engage with nearly 20 international institutional investors including Singapore sovereign funds, professional investment institutions, large asset management companies and insurance institutions. Through one-on-one closed-door meetings and small group meetings, the event helped Taiwan companies connect with international capital and raised the international visibility of Taiwan's capital market.
7 Key Supply Chain Companies Join
The 7 outstanding OTC companies invited to Singapore include C Sun (3131), Auras (3324), Tai-Tech (3357), eMemory (3529), Gudeng (3680), Aspeed (5274) and Taiwan Semiconductor (5425), covering key areas such as advanced packaging wet process equipment, thermal modules, inductor components, embedded non-volatile memory IP, semiconductor photomask carriers, remote server management chips and power semiconductors, all leading representatives of the global supply chain and Taiwan's capital market. Senior executives exchanged face-to-face with international institutional investors, sharing operating strategies, industry trends and long-term growth momentum in depth, demonstrating the competitive advantages of Taiwan companies.
Targeting Singapore's Capital Momentum and Strategic Position
Taishin Securities President Chen Li-kuo said that with the accelerated development of the global AI industry and continued restructuring of the technology supply chain, Taiwan, with its complete semiconductor and ICT industry clusters, has seen its strategic position in the global technology supply chain draw increasing attention from international capital. Singapore combines the advantages of a gateway to ASEAN and an international financial center, bringing together sovereign funds and investment capital. This event fully demonstrated the cross-border and cross-industry integration synergies of Taishin Shin Kong Financial Holding, leveraging the local resources and institutional client network cultivated in the South Asia market by Taishin Bank's Singapore branch to link securities and banking service capabilities and deepen connections between Taiwan companies and international capital.
Foreign Participation Rate Rises to 31% in 5 Years
During the event, the Taipei Exchange and the Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation were invited to give special presentations, introducing the diversity, liquidity and digital development achievements of Taiwan's capital market from market systems and industry structure to back-office infrastructure. TPEx President Chen Li-ching said the AI investment boom has brought Taiwan's semiconductor supply chain to the fore, attracting local large asset management companies and insurance institutions to participate, with lively on-site exchanges. The TPEx noted that over the past 5 years, foreign participation in the TPEx market has risen from 17% to 31%, and it will continue to hold overseas roadshows to jointly build Taiwan into an "Asian Asset Management Center."
