Transforming into a One-Stop Solutions Platform
Test-Rite Home (7867) was officially listed for trading on the 30th. Deeply rooted in Taiwan's home repair market for over 30 years, it has in recent years transformed from a traditional home repair retailer into a "one-stop home solutions platform," integrating products, consultation, measurement, construction and after-sales service, covering the home improvement lifecycle from repair and replacement to renovation, using integrated products and services to raise average order value, service stickiness and cross-category spending. Chairman Ho Tang-hsiung said listing is only a new starting point, with products, construction and follow-up maintenance all handled by the same service system in the future, so home improvement is no longer a one-time transaction but a key driver of operating momentum.
Community Stores as the Next-Stage Engine
Community stores will be an important growth engine for Test-Rite Home in its next stage. Community stores have expanded from 4 in 2019 to 36 in 2025, with a target of 42 in 2026 and plans to add 6 to 8 new stores each year to expand its service footprint. In the current revenue mix, large stores contribute about 84%, community stores about 12%, and malls plus e-commerce together about 4%. As community store locations continue to increase, combined with Test-Rite Home housekeeper home services to deepen local market penetration, the revenue share from community stores is expected to gradually rise. In its expansion strategy, it will use regional population distribution, member spending behavior and housing age data to optimize store layout and service coverage, with the Tatung Chongqing North store seeing明显 higher foot traffic and sales performance after its renovation this year.
E-Commerce Advances with 10.52 Million Members
On online sales, Test-Rite Home is accelerating core product listings and off-site channel development, building e-commerce into a second growth curve. Online product count rose from over 90,000 items in 2024 to over 100,000 items in 2025, with the online sales share gradually increasing, alongside AI search and recommendation functions to expand online installation booking and renovation services. With a base of 10.52 million members, the company connects online browsing, in-store spending, renovation bookings and after-sales data to identify consumer needs at different living stages such as kitchen and bathroom upgrades, aging-friendly retrofits and seasonal repairs, shifting from single-item promotions to scenario-based proposals to lift repurchase rates and cross-category spending. Facing AI application development, it is also introducing AI Agents to improve service efficiency and staff training speed, with a long-term plan to integrate product systems and renovation databases to help customers choose products through scenario simulation.
