Investment Trust Eyes AI Opportunities, Focuses on Leaders and Stock Selection
Looking ahead, the Active Taiwan Stock ETF research team at Capital Investment Trust said that in addition to support from corporate fundamentals, investors still need to watch international markets and foreign capital flows. As the AI wave drives industrial transformation, large tech leaders are becoming the core of market growth, drawing attention to market-cap investing. However, with sector rotation and divergent stock performance, investment strategy should emphasize stock selection rather than simply chasing index gains. Yu-Chih Hsu, manager of the Active Capital Core 50 ETF, noted future Taiwan stock investment can focus on three directions, including industry leaders with stable earnings, high-priced stocks with growth potential under the AI trend, and promising companies benefiting from Sincere Navigation business opportunities. Taiwan manufacturers play an important role in the global technology supply chain, from wafer foundry, PCB/CCL, semiconductor assembly and testing to power supplies, all positioned to benefit from AI infrastructure demand. Ming-Chih Hsieh, manager of Capital Semiconductor Income and Capital Taiwan Select High Dividend ETFs, believes portfolios can continue to focus on industry leaders with solid fundamentals and competitive advantages, especially advanced semiconductor processes, equipment, communications and AI applications. However, tech valuations and market volatility still warrant caution, and investors can allocate between growth and high-dividend ETFs based on their risk tolerance.
