The three major institutional investors bought a combined NT$29.894 billion, and the number of high-priced stocks over NT$1,000 rose to 49. 杜金龍 Sees 60,000 Points in 2027
As Taiwan stocks reclaimed 47,000 points, market confidence recovered. According to media reports, veteran analyst 杜金龍 stressed that the short-term correction does not mark the end of the bull market, and maintained the view that Taiwan stocks could challenge 53,000 to 60,000 points in 2027. 和碩 Chairman 童子賢 also noted that if 台積電's EPS exceeds NT$100 this year, at the current share price of over NT$2,400, the P/E ratio is only just over 20 times, with long-term fundamentals remaining healthy. However, some analysts reminded that overall margin balances remain above NT$600 billion, chips still need to be digested, and the short-term market may gradually move higher through volatile consolidation.
Top Ten Active ETFs by Size All Close Higher
According to CMoney statistics, as of October 28, the top ten actively managed ETFs by size in Taiwan, including Taiwan equity and cross-border types, all closed higher, with an average gain of about 3.6%, of which 9 outperformed the benchmark's 2.04%. The Actively Managed Fuh Hwa Future 50 (00991A), managed by 呂宏宇, rose 4.62% on the 28th, about 2.26 times the benchmark gain. Among all actively managed ETFs, 00991A posted the highest gain among the 4 funds with size over NT$50 billion, also above the 4.56% of 全台's largest active fund, 統一 Taiwan Equity Growth (00981A). Among the top ten by size, Active Capital Tech Innovation (00992A) ranked first with 4.80%, and 00991A ranked second. With size reaching NT$71.4 billion, 00991A still maintained a gain leading the benchmark, also answering market doubts about the operational flexibility of large actively managed ETFs.
AI Supply Chain Leads Rebound
Among the 50 holdings of 00991A, 39 closed higher on the 28th, including 景碩 hitting limit-up, 南亞科 surging 8.16%, and 聯發科, 台光電, 健策, 信驊 and other AI supply chain stocks rising sharply. 00991A's holdings related to PCB, ABF substrates and CCL total about 30%, with additional exposure to memory and cooling. Institutional investors noted that tight supply-demand for DRAM and high-end ABF substrates is expected to continue into 2027, with related industry fundamentals still supported, and previously sharply corrected groups became the main drivers of this rebound.
Institutions Eye Year-End Window-Dressing Rally
Institutions said the Taiwan stock correction in the prior two weeks mainly reflected short-term chip adjustments, not a reversal in AI industry demand, and as AI investment extends from model training to inference applications, high-end PCB, memory and cooling supply chains still have growth momentum. Looking ahead to the fourth quarter through the first quarter of 2027, year-end window-dressing by institutions and corporate earnings growth expectations are expected to add momentum to Taiwan stocks. For investors already holding 00991A, there is no need to trade frequently due to short-term volatility; those not yet invested may seize market pullbacks to participate in AI industry upgrades and cross-year growth opportunities in Taiwan stocks through regular fixed-amount investment or staged deployment.
