Anthropic IPO Rattles U.S. and Taiwan Stocks
During Taiwan's holiday period, AI startup giant Anthropic filed for an IPO, triggering fund rotation in U.S. stocks, coupled with market concerns over the cash flow of major cloud service providers, causing sharp volatility in Taiwan stocks. Taiwan stocks hit a high of 49968.92 points on October 6, then fell repeatedly, with the weighted index having shed 2312 points since October. This week, major Taiwan and U.S. tech giants are reporting earnings one after another; in addition to profit performance, capital expenditure and cash flow are also market focuses, becoming the core issue behind the recent volatility.
