Taiwan加權指數 27日 opened high and moved low, turning negative several times during the session and once falling below the 4萬6千點 mark, before turning positive into the close to finish at 46096.23點, up 54.8點, or 0.12%, with turnover of 9765.47億元. On the market, optoelectronics stocks were mainly lower today, with only a few names bucking the trend, showing a clear divergence.

In the panel trio, 友達 opened high and moved low, closing at 33.45元, down 5.51%, while remaining highly traded with volume of 33.8萬張. 群創 fell 1.07% and 彩晶 fell 2.43%, as the panel group pulled back to consolidate, with 友達 the steepest decliner among listed optoelectronics stocks today.
Optics Names Diverge as 玉晶光 Sets Record High
Optics names diverged, with 大立光 down 2.83%, holding the 6000元 level. 玉晶光 refreshed its record high intraday at 1245元, closing at 1210元, up 4.31%, its 3rd straight trading day higher for a cumulative gain of 16.35%. Other optics names were weak, with 揚明光 down 2.77%, 今國光 closing at 94.6元, down 4.44%, and 中揚光 down 1.86%.
冠西電 Hits Limit-Up to Another New High as Over Ten Weak Names Drop Sharply
Among other names, glass-substrate concept 正達 closed at 66.5元, down 3.06%, and TPK-KY closed at 70.8元, down 3.01%. 光鼎 closed at 36.05元, down 4.5%, 台表科 closed at 278.5元, down 4.13%, 悅城 closed at 38.55元, down 4.7%, and GIS-KY closed at 97.8元, down 4.12%. In addition, 力特 closed at 20.6元, down 3.74%, 州巧 closed at 50.2元, down 3.46%, 元晶 closed at 25.1元, down 3.46%, 達運 closed at 12.95元, down 3.36%, and 明基材 closed at 27.65元, down 3.15%. On the upside, 翔耀 rose 4.85%, 佳能 rose 3.29%, and 冠西電 surged to limit-up to close at 287元, its 3rd straight gain for a cumulative rise of nearly 27%, setting another record high, with volume of 983張.
