Emerging electromechanical and computing center major 海利普 (7877) announced on 29日 that its subsidiary 海利普 New Energy Co., Ltd. has officially entered the green power retailing matchmaking platform. 海利普 stated that in recent years it has accumulated strong track records in solar power, fishery-electricity symbiosis and overseas photovoltaic projects, and to maximize green power value, it established a power retail company to build a one-stop energy ecosystem from generation and storage to retailing and wheeling, fully targeting domestic corporate net-zero emissions and green power procurement opportunities.
Recruiting Former Top-Three Power Retail Veteran to Lead
海利普 announced the recruitment of green energy industry manager and former top-three power retail platform veteran 田明昌 as General Manager of the Green Power Business Group. 田明昌 previously served as Vice President of 怡和綠電超商, pioneering a convenience-store model for the green power procurement process, introducing AI power forecasting and financial trust restructuring mechanisms, and leading 怡和綠電超商 to become one of the top three domestic power retail brands. In addition to becoming a trusted green power supplier to major semiconductor companies in the Hsinchu Science Park, it also expanded into financial holdings, banks, shipping and central state-owned institutions.
Chairman 謝宇霖 said the green power market has shifted from competition among large manufacturers to popularization for all, with small and medium-sized enterprises facing pain points such as lack of access to procurement and uneven supply and demand. 田明昌 is a representative professional operator in the power retail industry and will inject urgently needed channel-oriented thinking into the group, leading the green power platform to become the preferred brand for enterprises, with the goal of becoming one of the top three power retailing platforms in Taiwan.
Three Major Strategies Targeting SME Pain Points
田明昌 said 海利普 has more than 230MW of solar and fishery-electricity track records with stable generation sources. In the future, 海利普 New Energy will upgrade the model previously used to build a top-three power retail platform and propose three key strategies. The first is a diversified supply strategy, integrating existing sites and strategic partner generation resources to build a diversified renewable energy portfolio of solar and wind power to ensure stable around-the-clock supply.
The second is flexible power pool procurement, targeting small and medium-sized enterprises, breaking the traditional decades-long contract lock-in and launching flexible, pay-as-you-go friendly plans. The third is smart management and storage optimization, combining AI technology with behind-the-meter energy storage systems to accurately forecast corporate power consumption behavior and site generation, effectively reducing surplus power cost burdens in the wheeling process and opening a new era of green power popularization in Taiwan.
