Q4 Outlook Focuses on Edge AI Deployment
CFO and General Manager of Comprehensive Business Management 陳清熙 said Q3 benefited from the development of the edge AI market, as well as strong demand from semiconductor equipment, smart healthcare and other applications, coupled with supply chain fluctuations and component price increases, customers continued to place orders actively; however, affected by rising prices of key components, gross margin declined in the short term compared with the same period last year. Looking ahead to Q4, although raw material cost fluctuations and supply chain challenges remain, the company has begun deployment to ensure stable supply and continue its cost pass-through mechanism. The new headquarters in Tustin, Southern California, USA has been opened and put into operation, integrating local assembly and technical services to accelerate response to North American market demand, and will focus on Edge Computing & AI-Powered WISE Solutions as the medium- to long-term core to drive large-scale implementation of Edge AI.
