Amway joins Videoland Sports Channel to present 《舞麗對決 Amway Cup World Breaking Dance Competition》, welcoming the fourth-episode final battle. After three episodes of "Stage Charisma," "Extreme Control," and "Infectious Energy Explosion," the two teams will face off in this episode's "Music Control Final Battle," competing not only for the last MVP spot but also revealing the four-episode overall Champion. Dance promoter 陳漢典 will join Videoland sports anchor 王孜妤, professional judges 辰辰 and 小B, and Double P, an important DJ in Taiwan's breaking scene, to witness the final outcome.
Blind-Box Music Tests Improvisation Skills
Unlike pre-choreographed stage performances, the most exciting part of a breaking Battle is that dancers never know what the next music will be. Songs are played randomly on site, and once the music starts, dancers have no second chance — they dance to whatever they hear. This episode will feature internationally renowned DJ Double P controlling the music throughout and serving as the MVP selector for the "Music Control Final Battle," observing who can quickly grasp the characteristics of unknown melodies and rhythms and respond with the most personal style.
Scoring Focuses on Musicality and Originality
Professional judge 辰辰 points out that solid fundamentals are only the starting point; dancers who can truly control the stage must also combine musical understanding, on-the-spot judgment, and original style, with this episode's scoring placing greater emphasis on musicality and originality. Contestants shared that through repeated practice, each move gradually becomes a natural bodily reaction, so that during the Battle they do not need to focus on thinking about moves, freeing up more attention to listen to the music. Breaking professional judge 小B says the two teams each have their own strengths, and the key to widening the gap in the end lies in who can more fully master movement details and skillfully blend personal style with music.
Amway Cup to Debut in Taipei on 11月1日 With Live Broadcast
As the four-episode program nears its end, the 2026 TAIPEI BBOY CITY "Amway Cup World Breaking Dance Competition" will debut on 11月1日 at the Cultural Plaza in front of the Taipei New Horizon Building, inviting breaking dancers from around the World to compete. Amway Taiwan and Hong Kong President 林彥秀 shared hopes that everyone will experience the live charm of breaking in person, noting Amway has sponsored breaking for five consecutive years, witnessing the sport grow from the streets to a bigger stage. 陳漢典 will also perform on that day with several teachers, and Videoland Sports Channel will broadcast live on TV and YouTube starting from 下午3點.
